Channel commander or admin broadcast
Desperately in need of either an option for admins to broadcast a message to ALL channels or more than one at a time,
Or ability to set an admin text channel that forces it's to all members.
Game: atlas
Situation: multiple crews of multiple ships all require their own channel, but a fleet command needs to be able to simultaneously issue commands to all ships without hopping channels.
This could be adressed with either the ability for specific ranks to broadcast to all channels or the ability of specific ranks to force tts to all users in discord.

Just make an @everyone announcement or make a bot for it. I don't see much use for this globally.

Fyi I was able to make a bot in 10 minutes that can do this for you. Hmu if you want it in the meantime.

I believe that you didn't understood what he meant. He is not refering to text chat but to vocal channels.
I would also really need this feature for my community! At this moment, they are still playing with TS3 because discord doesn't have a channel commander.
I am playing on Mount & Blade : Napoleonic Wars (soon on Banerlord) with an army corp composed of several regiments. During our linebattles against other regiments, the leaders of each regiments are connected to two vocal channels at the same time :
- One with the soldiers of his regiment
- One with the leaders of the other allied regiments (for troops coordination and possibility for a regiment to call for help).
With discord, it seems impossible to have this feature, unfortunately.. Unless someone is good at creating bots.
If the discord team is reading this, do you intend to implement this in the next years ?1 -
This is so needed. As said above this was huge in TS3 for running multiple squads/ groups with having a commander to speak with the Squad leaders.
