Mouse Button 4 should not take the user back to the Discord home page

After the latest update, Discord has begun taking the user to the Home page after mouse button 4 is pressed. Mouse button 4 is often interpreted as 'Back' (and as such, takes the user back a page in a web browser) but it has never done that in Discord until now.

 

Many people use mouse button 4 as their push to talk key and as such, are taken away from a view of their current server and are forced to Home. This can be very annoying if you have Discord open on an extra monitor with it in focus. 

 

 

Please revert this change.

    Hello there Nopak.

    Yes, using X-Mouse Button Control did the trick, but I guess that everyone can have different idea how to set it up. For me just disabling Those Buttons works fine, even when I'm using Mouse Button 3.



    Discord seems to still recognize this input, but is not using it as "go back" "go forward".
