Controller Input not taken into account for AFK Timer

From what I've noticed, if I am muted in a channel while playing a game using a controller, I am considered AFK and moved to the AFK channel after the AFK timer is up. This does not happen if I use a keyboard to play games.

What I ask is for some support for XInput (or other controller inputs) to be identified/selected in your personal options so that using a controller while muted won't constantly kick you from a channel where the AFK timer is 5 minutes, for example.
