leader nsfw

Ping for toast

i am the leader of my server and do not wish to give the permission up, but on the server is nsfw content. most people can opt out, but it seems that a leader can not, can you add a way for leaders to opt out or anyone to "hide a channel"?

    Hi bob, you can give roles to people who would like the opt out of the option, just edit the permissions for the role so they can't see the nsfw channels. There are also bots that give the role to the user if they ask for it automatically.

    i am aware, but a leader can not do that for themselves, they need to see all of it

    As a server owner, you are responsible for the content of your server, so you should be able to see all channels, especially if somebody reports something on your server. You can't say: "Oh I can't see the channel so it's not my faul" If you want to opt out then maybe give ownership to another member.

    If you allow NSFW content to be posted on a server you own you HAVE to moderate it. You are the admin, if illegal things get posted in here it is your responsibility. An admin who wants to opt out of some of his channels may want to just remove those channels. If you don't feel comfortable enough with them to be able to moderate them, don't create them in the first place. Allowing NSFW then ignoring the channel is irresponsible and can lead to issues with bad apples amongst the members.
