Allow DMs from server members with roles whitelist

So for each server theres a privacy setting to allow DMs from server members. What about a setting to whitelist DMs from certain roles or at least a general "anyone with a role" ?

Would be nice for servers that have thousands of people where you dont want any random person DMing you but want to be able to receive DMs from mods etc

Best way would probably make it based on role ordering. Especially with how many servers use levels so you could allow high level members then anyone above them. Or like I said at least limit it to just anyone with a role since some other servers ONLY give roles to "official" people/bots

    I agree with this, I recently made a thing to show how this feature could be implemented.

    You could do this the other way. Let admins choose what roles are allowed to even send DM to other members.
