Auto detecting file type for files without extension?

like it has a list of common formats and headers for the formats
so it sees a jpg header and renames the uploaded file to a jpeg, PNG header and renames to PNG
it's painful saving images from bots on mobile because they don't come with extensions and when you rename them they disappear
