Additional permissions for channels
When configuring the channels on one of my Discord servers, I noticed that some permissions are missing or simply lacks explanations. First of all, it would be great if you guys could provide a short explanation on each permissions with a serious tone. Also, here is a list of missing permissions :
Text channels :
Execute bot commands : Y/N/SYNCED
Description: Allows the user to execute bots commands, if set to false, the user can still try but nothing will happen.
Use administrator privileges: Y/N/SYNCED
Description: Allows the user to be able to use the "Administrator" privilege or not. Aka "bypass restrictions".
Modify/mark media as NSFW : Y/N/SYNCED
Description: Allows a user to be able to mark a media as NSFW or not. Also allows a moderator/administrator to modify a message and set it to NSFW without having to request the message author to resend the media with NSFW checked. Useful for moderation.
Voice channels :
User limit : Minimum : 0 - Maximum : 99
Description: The reason why "0" should be a minimal count is because there are bots that uses voice channels as statistics. This is also useful when you want to make a channel "locked" so people cannot join it but they can see it (let's say this channel is used to display some kind of statistics again).
Warning on user count :
Description : This is useful if there is known performance issues/drops when more than X amount of users are connected in Y voice channel. This is a simple warning pop-up window that should let the user know that going above this number is going to probably cause performances drops/issues.
Visual colors on user counts in left row :
Description: Displays a color on the counter for user counts. For example, let's say there is 20 users out of 60, the light side of the counter which is usually a light grey will be green. This is very good to indicate how many users there is and how full a channel is. When the user count reach approximately half the total user limit, it turns to yellow. When that counter reaches 3/4 of it's capacity it turns to orange and when it's getting really full then it just turns red. Just like a traffic light.
GREEN=GOOD // YELLOW=WARNING // RED=BAD
