[Feature Request] Ability to See a Discord as an Administrator From a Specific Lower-Tiered Role's Perspective
Earlier today I was making a community discord for a video game community I manage when I told myself "Man, this would be so much easier if I could just see what this specific role could to make sure this all works properly".
I think it would be an amazing feature if an owner or administrator could simulate what channels and permissions a user with a specific role or group of roles could see/use.
Here is a scenario for an example. Viewing the general discussion channel for a community requires a "basic member" role to be given to a user, and then there is a "trusted member" role which grants a user access to another channel where trusted members can talk among themselves. Above that there is also an administrator role, which by default has permission to view and modify ALL channels in the discord.
Say an administrator is modifying permissions to clean up the discord's layout, and is unsure whether they did so properly. They should be able to select specific roles in which they would view the discord from those roles' perspective, where they may only access the channels the selected roles can normally see, excluding the ones their administrator role would grant access to normally.
This would allow server administrators to easily verify that their changes to a server's roles work properly, as they normally can't see from a lower-tiered role's perspective.
