Show category and channel name at the top
Occasionally, you'll have two channels with the same name in different categories, like the following.
Destiny
- general_chat
- lfg
Borderlands
- general_chat
- lfg
It'd be awesome if at the top of the screen where it shows the channel name, it also included the category name as well. It removed confusion about what channel your currently in and doesn't require prefixing all the channel names with the name of the game, ie destiny_general_chat, destiny_lfg, etc.
A bonus would also be on mobile showing the category when the channel in mentioned in line. Desktop shows the category on hove but mobile can't.

You could edit the descriptions of the individual channels. Add which category they are a part of. It'll show at the top where you mentioned, right next to the channel's name.

Right-click channel -> Edit Channel -> Add your description in the Channel Topic box.I think for multiple chat channels, especially, if they're named in a way that doesn't make their intended use obvious, then you're doing it wrong--hence you shouldn't need to include descriptions of how to use them in every description box. That's what a rules page is for, at any rate.
And from one server moderator and owner to another presumable server moderator/owner: people struggle to read even TLDRs, never mind blocks of information, so that's even more reason not to put much if anything at all in your channel topics.
