    Discord deletes the necessary metadata, leaving not enough data to restore it. This is possibly by design.

    This needs to be a thing!
    I had a modding server with lots of fans, broke down for a moment, deleted my server and now, I have nothing.
    It's really hard to build a community from the start.

    Maybe some day they will add a recover period for servers like they have for the discord accounts themselves.
