Suppress @everyone/@here per channel
When looking for on how to do it I found posts requesting this feature that were made 4 years ago, how is this still not a thing?

You can allow or disallow role-pings (this includes @everyone and @here) on channel level - go to channel settings / permissions and then select the roles you want to prohibit the pings. I personally think these permissions should be disabled on server level for absolutely everyone anyway - and then if you really want to you could allow it on particular categories or channels for certain roles. Be careful with this permission really. People tend to get very mad if a mass ping gets through that was not supposed to XD
I hope that helps. Have a great day.

I made this post as a normal user, not as a discord server admin.
In my case I have the server muted because I only care about pings in certain channels but there are other channels where pings get "abused".1 -
Get the Server Owner/Admin to suppress it. There's already a permission to deny it. If they don't it's their choice as it's their server. OR you can simply disable your notifications for it.
