Discord Server Structure
Discord is much more than just a social media platform now. It's completely communal now, and it's often like having a forum but in a chatroom. We have servers dedicated to helping people learn about animal husbandry, and then video game servers like The Sims franchise or Minecraft.
But there is quite a problem in this, because I find myself (many others feel this way too) getting lost among all the channels. It's cluttered even with categories and pins. Information and important messages become buried because it is all one vertical column. Pins exist, but aren't organizable, so I think that maybe there could be a feature to better structuralize discord servers into having a more website-based or forum-based structure as an option. For example, there could be a little tab or anchor menu on the right to every channel or something similar.
Channels can have tabs to sub-channels. This would be more convenient for servers that have blog/informative type of channels, and have a lot of them.
Or better yet, instead of those small features, discord can have its own website builder separate from discord's social media platform for discord. Then, you can integrate discord servers and messages into the website for the community to better interact with each other. The domain name for a website built off of discord could end with .discord, or can be a custom one with a payment plan (whether from an outside domain registrar or with discord). All this would be useful for influencers, businesses, blog users, forum users, and non-profit organizations/educational organizations.
