Client side user based channel filtering with server support.

Ever since me and all my friends were distanced by COVID maintaining communications has been difficult so we all ended up moving to Discord but unfortunately the dignity people struggle to maintain IRL is not present online for many. In correspondence with this issue it has resulted in the division and recreation of too many servers because certain people cannot get along and are incapable of simply ignoring messages by select individuals on their own. This has made moderation and the decision to ban certain people based on what they might have said quite difficult because under broader consideration someone shouldn't get banned because they offended one person whos incapable of not reading what a select individual says. We and I'm sure many others out there don't want to have to decide between banning one friend over the other. Personally I want to keep my friends together and have another option to suggest when they come to me begging that I ban someone because they said something that was offensive to them. Finally I'll get to my suggestion allow users to mute certain people on the server just for themselves so that that persons messages don't appear in the chat for them. Just like a chat filter but for individuals on the client side so that we don't have to consider banning people for the entire server just because they said something that offended one person. Many thanks I hope for our and others sake this can make its way into production some day.
