VR space for servers

I think it would be cool to have a VR space for either all servers or servers with a certain amount of boost. Basically each server has a customizable VR space where they can walk around and talk with friends in VR. You could even give players a larger space for more boost or charge for VR space separately. The default VR model would be wumpus

  Well, there is a game called VRchat just for that. I wouldn't see the point for servers to have this feature. How would people join on their phone or on lower specs computer.

  When discord was created it was with full knowledge that other platforms specifically geared for party chat already existed. Discord was just made to do it better! This is the same for something like VR chat. Yes it exist, but does this mean developers shouldn’t create something to compete with it? Of course not. Discord could fill the role that VR chat does and do more with it.

  Also to address your concern about mobile phone users they could join through AR technology already used in most phones allowing them to turn in 3D space by facing their phone in a different direction and lower end PC users could join through a simple first person view if they wanted I guess but I imagine it would exclusive to mobile and VR capable Computers.

  Discord is mostly used for PC or mobile. Adding VR in would take up a lot of time for the Devs and with minimal use from the community.

  Discord is no way able to make that. With the of time and resources spent on developing a unity client or unreal client since the client is a website in electron which has no vr capability and including the infrastructure, it's very dificult. In a sense discord would need to make a clone of VR Chat themed with discord and associated with discord servers. If discord was bought by a large company like google or microsoft, they could probably do it.
