Discord's "Early Verified Bot Developer" badge
Hi,
This subject has been posted by many but I think this badge is important. This badge shows your hard work and dedication to creating Discord Bots and taking it away in my view is a big mistake. I know a staff will probably reply that this will never come back but without the badge it makes the bot owner transparent and nothing to do with the bot but with the badge everyone will know: "Hey! That's the person who made MyVerify!" but without the badge they will have no idea who the owner is!
Discord have made a bad mistake taking the badge away, because it leaves the Bot Developers without any credit whatsoever!
I know many will disagree but Discord can make anything, maybe a bit more fraud detection and a bit of polishing up with the system will make people eligible to get their bot verified and get the badge.
This is my theory behind it. I want to change the way that Verified Bot Developers do not get any credit for their bot!

I totally agree with you that they should return it. BUT if they do they will make the requirements ALL LOT higher, meaning your bot might need to be in at least 1000 servers before you can apply for the badge and it needs to pass harder tests. Still I agree with discord, is it really about the profile badge? Your bot has the tick so everyone still knows the bot is legit right? And yes the badge shows you are one of the developers and yes it is nice to have it. But so many people misused this badge. How do we know if they reopen it everyone isn't going to do the same thing again? And that is where they might make the requirements a lot higher IF they reopen the badge.

I agree! Moste ppls dont know how much work it is. The badge is something that motivates Developers and make them proud of themselfe.

Discord is not going to add the badge back. Because if they do the same thing will happen. Because it is still happening. People are still adding fake bots just for the check on the name. And that is what discord will say, you still get the check next to your bots name to see you took the time to make something amazing.

I hope that some day i can get my Early Developer Badge because isn't fair that i work very hard not only to code my bot, also i had to promote him and earn trust of server owners to use my bot.
