Replying to a message, making it easier to follow a conversation

I often lose track of what someone is replying to when my Discord gets a bit busier and I need to scroll back to find out what I said, when and to who that it might be a reply to.

A simple "reply-to" feature would go a long way to solving, or at least softening, this problem.

This is how I think it could work:

1. Click the reply-to icon
2. The chat-bar now pre fills the name of the person you're replying to and you write your message
3. Once posted, the timestamp will have an addition of "in reply to Username" where Username is replaced by the name of the person you're replying to.
4. The "in reply to Username" timestamp is now clickable, taking you to the message that it is a reply to flash-highlight the message for about 1 second.
5. Changed your mind about  replying? just backspace the pre-filled name away and it won't be a reply-to anymore!

This would be minimal impact to the UI, note sure about the technical impact.
