Pop out chat window!

I'd love to be able to pop out a chat window and keep it in a corner of my screen while I work on something. Kinda like what's in the Discord Overlay for games already, but for regular dekstop use.

    Agreed. pop-outs for both chat, private messages, AND for individual servers (so I can watch mine, but talk on another)

    I don't understand why this isn't a thing. I just installed Discord and really dislike the big clunky interface that's required to Instant message a single person. I wouldn't be using it at all if I had other options.

    Yeah also want to see a feature to pop out multiple chat windows at once. So I can watch like 6 chats at once.

    I've commented on the above posted link by Troy with a recommendation for popout chat. This is a massive necessity for me, the entire discord window is very large and those of us with smaller screens have a difficult time managing different chats. A resizable popout window would be ideal.

    Agreed! I use Discord chat with friends and groups and would love to keep that window on a second monitor without needing the full Discord window.

    Can we please have this already? Especially if you're an owner/admin of a discord server, being able to keep an eye on voice chats to move/drag people, while keeping dm's open would be SUPER useful. PLEASE DISCORD!

    This would be great. I was just scrolling through a channel of which I need to catch up with, with a few hundred messages that are quite detailed. But then when a friend DM's me, I don't wanna click away. So it would be great if you could drag his avatar to another part of the screen and make it pop out in a tiny window.
