2FA Account Recovery

I would like to see discord come up with greater mean of account recovery like other companies like. Steam Ubisoft Etc. Where if you lost your recovery codes or lost or damaged your phone they can easily disable it if you apply proof. Examples: 1) Send a unique link to your email. 2) Verify a payment (PayPal/CC). IE: Nitro/Boost 3) Answer Security Questions. Currently there way of fixing it is by deleting your account, which I personally have had since discord was in beta. Let's get them to know our accounts matter and they're are secure ways of resolving it besides deleting accounts.

    I lost my main account to the 2FA and I can’t get it back discoed logged me out of it completely and I can’t get it back please help me get it back

    It’s infuriating. The 2FA won’t let me in to my old account, and I can’t disable the 2 factor unless I’m in the account. I’ve lost a lot of contacts that I can’t regain. I use discord for volunteer work, so it was a big hit for me.

    Agreed. Especially now that money can change hands for products and services it's pretty ridiculous that the only "remedy" is deletion. Especially since big name companies have ways of restoring your account with validation. They know better than to tell people to 'buy again' just because they lost some codes.
