Is there a way to make sure my discord doesn't update?

I hate the new changes for usability and taste reasons and luckily don't have the latest version on my PC, is there a setting I can toggle somewhere to make sure that discord won't try and update behind the scenes with a computer update or something like that?

  nnnnnnnope! Discord knows better than you, dontcha know. I mean, why would you ever not want the new changes they've worked so hard on?
  
  Basically the next time Discord launches, it'll update whether you want it to or not. Don't shut your computer down (sleep/hibernate is fine) and don't close Discord and you can delay the update for a little while but eventually it'll get shoved down your throat like the good little user you are.
