Ability to see past names of someone or set personal nicknames
So take this in account. You have someone or a friend you message all the time, but they keep changing their names all the time every few days, the issue is that we can't find them or know who it is all the time.
I personally think there should be a feature to be able to see past names they used or set personal names that only you can see. I private call friends all the time, and I know nicknames are in servers, but that's servers, and this needs to be a feature for people to be able to know who is who when they change their account names frequently. On my behalf, it's annoying not knowing who is this random name messaging me.

I agree. What's worse is some of these users create names that make it difficult to address them as their character isn't a standard character making it easy to @ them. On a server, admins can set nicknames, but those can just as easily be re-written by the user. I'll respect the originality if I'm given a method to allow easy access to address the individual I'm trying to direct communication.
Give users a way of setting a personal nickname that isn't seen but allows us to reference a specific individual. This way the user gets to use whatever nickname he or she wants, but when we reference said user with our personal nick, he or she simply see what he or she set as his or her nickname. Communication can resume and we can get on with our life.2 -

Also would be handy when trying to identify people who get kicked from a server and rejoin with a different name
