Merge accounts support

    Support asked me to " vote " here as well . I have an old account with an old email that I do not use . I got an invite to a new Discord app . It signed me in with my newer common email . Originally . The next time I logged in with my PC . I was in my old account . And only my phone linked to the new account .

      I am not able to delete /edit the old email and change it to the new one . Because the new one is already in use . By me .

      I would like to be able to combine the links on the 2 accounts . With one login email .

      Support has expressed they would very much like to have that capability .

    I just got told by support to come and "upvote" this suggestion in order to have this feature added. This is not the first request for it that I have upvoted. There was one a couple years ago, hopefully this will be added soon. I have a similar problem that a lot of people have, I had an account set up on my old phone, then got an invite to a server on my computer and ended up setting up another account,  then got another invite on my new phone that set up a 3rd account! So now I have 3 accounts and no way to connect them or even add my email on to one that currently only has my phone number because the email is already in use... by me.

      The way I ended up solving it . Was to delete the other accounts . . Leaving only the one with the most important server . Still with the same email . And now updated phone # .

      Following all that . Any future invites were activated in my now 1 and only account . Synched with my Browser , phone and desktop Discord Apps .

    BTW . I was PDB1 . Am now Azwiz . I also have the original server ID with the 4 digit number . Which is what you use for your one and only primary account . You can then change your username to an alias .

    100% agreed. That they can't do this in 2023 (nearly 2024) is a bit of a joke. So many other apps and services have account merging for this very issue shows they are so far behind the curve it's embarrassing.
