Video Chat - Custom Backgrounds
Due to Discord getting more usage outside of the Gaming Area atm and the Video Chat making its way onto Servers I would love to see a option to change your Background of the Video like Microsoft Teams & Zoom currently offer. Custom Pictures/Live Videos or even a Blur would make it more interesting for people to video chat with each other or just focus on the person itself, without revealing whats behind them.
Maybe even make the Blur for everyone and the Custom stuff for Nitro Users.

+1 with both my wife and I sharing office space at home during these times, at minimum background blurring has become a standard for us for video conferencing

This already exists on Skype, Zoon, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. It's time to exist on Discord too.

Absolutely. This and having the option to disable your own video on your screen are my only 2 complaints about Discord A/V.

I am also pining for a video background. It's great for setting tone as a GM, emphasizing something about your RPG character, and being discrete about location and housekeeping, um, challenges.

Discord, please give us blurred backgrounds! It's actually one of the points that is keeping me from more broadly using Discord beyond just gaming.

It needs to happen, we use it to communicate with school friends and it is annoying when stuff in the background can't be covered.
