Discord Account Bio

I'm not really sure if this was ever talked about, but I think that it would be pretty cool to have a bio for your discord profile. I understand that this is similar to your status, but I think it's a bit different and could be used in pretty cool ways. That being said, people could obviously abuse this just like they do with status' so that's something that would have to get looked into.

    Interesting, this must indeed be introduced. However it may cause problems, we don't want Discord to turn into an Instagram.

    I can see how you would think it could turn into something like instagram, but I don't think that would be the case. It's not like posting pictures on your profile and whatnot would be added. I just think it would be nice to tell everyone a bit about yourself by looking at the profile.

    There are a lot of braindead kids on Discord, and some of them may put cringe stuff like 'OWO IM 13 AND IM SINGLE UWU'. 
    That will cause major problems, and pedophiles might even contact them

    I can see that as well, but it's sort of the same thing with age roles on some servers already with reaction roles. Pedophiles are going to be wherever you go anyways. I just think it would be nice as things like facebook and insta have the same things.

    Simple way to introduce a user without having to use their status. Better placed in the profile though.

    personally i’d love this a lot !! a bio would be so helpful and being able to put my pronouns and stuff in there would be amazing
