Admin Abuse
I Have encountered This That Many Moderators,Admin,Co-owners And Even Server Owner Nowadays....I don't Know when you are reading this but During 2020 Feb-July(The Month Right Now)
Admin Abuse was common...Like They are Muting,Warning,Kicking and Banning Users...For fun...
The reason they put is "Fun , Idk , Just Messing , " This has also happened with me...
How To Prevent This-
- If The Abuser Is a mod or admin then you can contact owner or co-owner
- If it is co-owner you can contact owner
- If it is Owner then you should report the server and the owner on https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
- You can alert other members about this and ask them to leave the server

admin abuse isnt against the guidelines. if people are doing it as a joke and its not harming anybody then its fine. leave the server alone though, dont ask people to leave and dont try and get it taken down, thats just rude.

it depends, some people have a god complex or just ban people so they can get an edge in a game. For example threatening a ban if you vote them out in among us.

People keep telling me i am admin abusing but than they don't follow my server rules i need some help its a roleplay server and i keep saying no god mode like in my rules but they don't listen and some of them have destroyed my server several times

Yeah but what if the owner is offline and the admin/mod is abusing their power then what to do and the server that I'm in doesn't have a Co-Owner

I dont really think its admin abuse if the owner of the server abuses power. The owner owns the server, therefore the owner has full responsibility of the server, The owner can choose to edit, he can choose to control the powers in the server. Correct me if im wrong about any of this. I really suggest if you are being abused by an admin which is the owner, to leave the server without any arguements. I dont think that admin abuse is against tos. I am NOT a worker at discord, so i might be wrong about all of this. Im trying my best to help people which have encountered this.

I recommend Wick bot. Prevents annoying admins and heightens server security. (Note that Wick can only be controlled by the server owner. If the server owner is the problem, there is not much you can do)

I've experienced abuse from a current or former Moderator identified as Mojocat on the Grand Summoners Official Discord. This Moderator threatened me for making a small advice mistake, when I was trying to help another player. Mojocat and others administering that server conspired against me and banned me from all of the chat rooms thus hindering my years of play of the Grand Summoners app. They took it upon themselves to behave almighty against a player who was simply enjoying the game and having fun up to that point. The issue happened about a month ago and the administrators keep themselves in 'Do Not Disturb' mode to prevent from holding accountability amongst their own. They play God on the server and ruin the reputation of players by making other users believe users are the problem when they don't bow down to Administrators and Moderators. To date, the account is still blocked from messaging in the chat rooms.

i can relate to the one comment above me, I've experienced an abuse from a server owner of a server called ToF Sea Osillron the owner here is identified as IcyArsenic, slandering me in a certain way and provoking me to come back to the server just to get banned when my rage was caused by him not having the guts to solve the problem in a vc chat, and yes if you ever read this, this is how much of a beef i have to you, I did rage in the server for a good 25 minutes, but the owner are just playing god, and is a keyboard warrior, maybe other members are not innocent but this server owner just wont take the best solution for both parties, by talking it out and ban me instead after having me spend time on making the server better, this really is a problem, discord is a good place to hang and chill but we have this kind of keyboard warrior playing god

This is in regards to the server: "Womboverse", "Wombot" and one Moderator by the name of "Buns",#8810:
I know that the last entry was posted a month ago, I apologize for my late entry.. but this I feel is pretty important. Especially if one is a paying subscriber to a particular server for one of its' bots: "Wombot". I was a victim amongst others of this one, sole moderator who was given free rein to torture paying subscribers for fun and/or to soothe her narcissistic-like over inflated ego. It is an AI art sharing server, of which many are paying subscribers to, of various ages, both young and old. I'm of the latter and wasn't very Discord "savvy" so to speak. "Womboverse" was the first server I ever joined on Discord since their app "Wombo Dream" was the first I had ever experimented with that had the invite to their server. (I simply didn't know any better, obviously!)
Regardless, I've never had any problems complying with, and vice versa, with any other moderator or Admin there besides her. I could not understand at first why she was following me around, nit picking my every move.. giving off the impression as though she was trying to pick an argument just so she can put me on another, yes, another 24 hour timeout for defending myself from what started to feel like some sort of school yard bullying.
Now I haven't felt patronized like that in quite some time, since grade school, actually. I just turned 60, so it was a shock to me as to why she was behaving like that along with the fact that I did not have any problems with any other Mod there. It was very disturbing, nerve wracking and almost to the point of being traumatizing, especially towards myself being a two time annual paying subscriber. I DM'd the other mods, helpers, AND the Admin. and they ALL brushed it off saying it's just the way she is, etc, etc..that's if I had gotten a response at all. In most cases, the 24 hour time out was lifted by one of the Admin., but that doesn't excuse her behavior and their allowance for her to continue it.
In the meantime, she was also doing this to other paying subscribers and singling them out, besides myself. I know this because I've DM chatted with some of them personally. They too have informed the Admin complaining about her. I have also discovered, along with those that I have chatted with, that she has a childish tendency to get overwhelmingly jealous of anothers' AI art that they post!!! I was also told by one that she deletes her own derogatory comments afterwards trying to cover up her tracks!
This is a moderator/helper(?) that the Admin/Owner is actually allowing to let loose on paying subscribers without being reprimanded in any way. I'm not sure if she's related or married, GF, to one of them or what, but nonetheless, that's no way to run a server and/or a business.
Also mentioning, I did in fact Block this moderator "Buns" trying to make any attempt to keep her away from me and I let the Admin know about it as well, but she even still managed to override the Block by taking advantage of her position and continued her harassment regardless.
I joined/subscribed to this server to relax, generate AI art and share it along with my prompts with others. I also very much enjoyed looking at others AI art as well, along with having friendly chats, and I paid two subscription fees to do so under reasonable TOS related guidelines. But instead, I was continually harassed for little to no good reason at all aside from simply defending myself against a schoolyard bully, and not alone. It started getting much worse, to the point where I just couldn't take it anymore. So I cancelled my re-subscription and left that server for good!
Now what can someone like me possibly do other than leave after that? I can report her, I have screenshots, but that's it. From what I understand, that's not enough to file a report on Discord against someone, right?
So, am I going to get reimbursed/credited for the months I have left on my annual subscriptions after I left the server, bot and uninstalled their Wombo Dream app? I highly doubt it, I didn't even get an answer from them on that one!
What this looks like to me, (and probably to most) only reinforces the fact that this particular server, "Womboverse", and its' owners and staff, not only does not care about their paying subscribers, but are also willing to allow their subscribers to undergo reckless bullying by this emotionally disturbed Mod "Buns" that they refuse to let go, much less reprimand for her horrible repeating covert-like behavior. Seemingly, for reasons unknown other than time just enough for the Admin/Owner to get at least one more subscription payment out of a current subscriber that's also being needlessly bullied and harassed by "Buns" before they too, just can't take it anymore and leave, just like I did. Then offer them no reimbursement and/or credit in return for that! It's a total insanely sick and disgusting way to run a server and a business, and a deplorable way to treat their paying subscribers!

forum.spaceturtl.es This seems to me—and I imagine most others—to be further proof that the owners and employees of this particular server not only have no regard for their paying patrons, but also are willing to watch helplessly as this unstable moderator, "Buns," harasses them without any remorse or warning. It seems that the sole purpose of this is to allow the administrator/owner sufficient time to obtain one more subscription payment from a current subscriber who is also experiencing unnecessary harassment and intimidation from "Buns" before they, too, lose patience and quit, as I did. Then offer them nothing in return, not even credit!
