Someone with a lower roles then me is editing my roles
My friend and I are on a discord server where we both have mod. The difference is that his mod role is lower then mine. I double checked to make sure I was correct and he can change roles on everyone that we tried so far. I was just wondering if this was intentional design or not because I was under the impression that he couldn't. We are both on mobile.

This problem can either come from Discord mobile, it had several bugs on it so that you are both on it makes my theory likely possible
Or it’s your friend playing a trick on you and she created 2 roles with identical names but one is below your role and the other above so she have power on u

Users that have the manage roles permission can add and remove roles that are lower in the role stack then the highest role they own.
This can be done on all users, even if their highest role is higher up than the highest role of the one doing the editing.

A lower role user with the server permission 'Managa Roles' could hide a channel from a role that is higher than them. This is an oversight that needs to be addressed.
