The issue with this is if a server is kid friendly and someone swears, so a admin deletes it, it’s not hidden, meaning people can still see it, thus making it impossible to make a kid safe server.

Audit logs for deleted messages do not contain the contents of the message that was deleted, only the name of the person who sent and deleted the message.

Could not disagree more on the initial proposal to make the audit log visible to everybody. While I agree that in some cases, servers can have moderator and admin abuse, I don't think that's a problem that warrants the visibility of the entire audit log. You are correct in saying you cannot see message content, but you can see nickname changes including the previous nickname. There is also sensitive kick and ban info included in the audit log, including the kick/ban reason that should not be visible to the average user. If you're experiencing moderator and/or admin abuse, take it to the highest ranking member of the server, starting with the Server Owner. If they do not fix the problem, either report them to Discord Trust and Safety ONLY if the abuse is violating Discord ToS and Community Guidelines, or leave the server. Maybe you could suggest a Bot Audit Log that has selectable content from the audit log that is visible to all users. But there is no reason that an audit log with private moderation info should be publicly accessible.
