Messages in DMs and servers should ABSOLUTELY be deleted after account deletion.
One of Discord’s biggest issues is the fact it just leaves messages from deleted accounts in an endless stasis. This has been an ongoing issue and has been constantly complained about for years and constantly voted for, yet has not ONCE been addressed by staff for some unknown reason. It’s making me question if Discord even reads feedback.
It should go without saying that this is a massive privacy issue that has affected several people, especially since several deleted accounts have personal info in messages that could potentially be found and used with malicious intent. This absolutely needs to be seen and addressed, messages staying after account deletion is an unnecessary and dangerous feature that desperately needs to be fixed. There are several benefits to an absolute deletion, but I can’t think of a single valid reason to keep messages of deleted accounts besides maybe conversation flow, which has no good reason to be put over ensured privacy

I tried posting an extremely detailed reason as of why this is an issue but the post has been "pending" for hours.. I've also been emailing support about this in general. I sent the links of posts ranting and crying out for this I found in the feedback so they could at least take note of it. I know this update wouldnt come over night or anything and I take notice that this may be difficult even but they need to stop ignoring the outcry in regards of this.

You could try asking them on their twitter account since they're pretty active on there
