Is muting a player shared across accounts on the same device/IP?

If you mute a player on one account, log out and log in to a second account, the same player will be muted on both accounts. Same for the opposite, unmuting a player. Just was confused as if this was intended or a bug.

Banning someone from a server is IP specific, so does that mean muting a player is IP specific as well? If someone gets muted, logs into another account using the same IP, are they muted on the 2nd account as well?

    It may be a bug
    However it may also seem like it was a failed attempt on cross platform saved info
    One problem this is a bug report, not a suggestion so i would suggest you to post this report in discord.gg/discord-testers

    Well I tried to post it in that server but after passing the quiz the bot doesn't send me any follow up message. So I guess if you'd like you could submit a bug post about it. It is pretty much exactly as I described above, hopefully you can repeat it as well if you have an alternate account.

    Only problem is that if you did it 100% then it may just be delayed bc of how the bot does have possibly several thousands of inputs left to sort out so that may be the issue
