Feature request: Share a Desktop

Currently we have two options,

  1. share your screen (they see what you see)
  2. share your application (they are restricted to a single application)

On Linux we have a Desktop with multiple Virtual Desktops. It would be great if it was an option to share a virtual destop. Then I could have private messages me on a different desktop (that they can not see), and I could still have multiple applications (terminal & browser) on the shared desktop that they can see when I am working.

    This feature also exists in windows, I believe this would make a good semi-cross-platform feature (not sure if mac has a feature like this natively)
