hide 'others' game activity option

I have social anxiety i am slowly trying to overcome, and my experience on discord says a big part of users do, to a certain degree.

i have lost friendships (and i have seen other lose these friendships) when they see a gang they used to hang out with playing a game and not being invited.

sometimes others dont want to hide game activity and thats fine, but an option to chose to not see activity from others would be really appreciated by many users that have the same problems.

i am not the only one that has gone trough this, i have heard this story repeat several times amongs other people. specially in delicate situations when trust is shaked and people needs some time on their own.

I see this was posted a year ago, but I just wanted to comment and say that I also second this idea and hope something like it will be implemented if it hasn't already been

please implement this, i also wish to not see what other friends are doing for the sake of my own mental health.
