Make it possible to login through Username#Discriminant

I had an issue where I got locked out of my last account because I disabled it and before I did so, I changed the email so that I could use the old email for a new account. I filled in the email with a random email account (a random string of letters @ gmail.com) and logged in and made my new account. What I didn't realise is that now there was no way to get in to my account - I had no email and phone number on that account, because I could not recall that random email I put in.

Discord support emphasised they couldn't do anything to help, due to security measures. However, I feel there should be a solution to this problem. Either Discord should be more fine-grained and consider cases individually. I have overwhelming proof, emails, evidence and vouches that the locked account was mine. IP addresses for logins device models, servers joined, etc. could be checked. I am confident that if Discord tried to check these things, it would force them to believe that the account was mine.

If this isn't implemented, then a method to login via usernames would be very useful. For example, Foo#1234 could be used in place of phone number or email. I am assuming that Discord is trying to improve account security by only letting you login with things that should be private, as opposed to a public viewable username and discriminant, but many large social media sites allow login through usernames. It is a reasonable mechanic for a social media / networking site to allow.
