A problem with verification with discord

Along with me and several others a problem on Discord continues to happen, that being the verification with phone screen. Some people don't even have phones or phone numbers, there needs to be another way to verify like email. After all they do want us to put in our emails in and there does seem to be some sort of email verification system like when you forget your password. Honestly the verification thing just keeps on annoying me, requires me to email Discord over and over just to let me back into my account and sometimes it takes weeks.
