[Inquiry if the newsletter transmission solution using Discord bots violates Discord’s ToS or Developer Policy]

Hello, I'm Harry, a bot developer.

I write this post to ask if my new bot solution violates the Terms of Service of Discord or the Developer Policy. I'm developing a Discord bot solution that sends informational newsletters/magazines to Discord users(Do Not Sending DM), which includes some advertising articles.

The solution will essentially ask for the agreement of users who want to use our service(which sends users informational newsletters, magazines, and some advertising articles).

When users use the solution, my bots will send the articles to users automatically in a timely manner(by analyzing user data; such as chat information). This means that the users of my service don’t have to call or interact with our bot to see the articles.

I went over Discord’s Terms of Service and found some points that could conflict with my service. I would appreciate it if you could review whether our service violates your policy or not.

Do not target users with advertisements or marketing. Messaging to Discord users from any Application or developer team should be relevant to the function of the Application and may not contain material unrelated to an Application’s function or information.

Do not disclose API data to any advertising network, data broker, or other advertising or monetization related service.

Do not use Discord to spam, manipulate engagement, or disrupt other people’s experience, including trying to influence or disrupt conversations using bots, fake accounts, multiple accounts, or other automation.

The three terms below are those that we are concerned about. In addition, we would appreciate it if you could tell us about other terms besides those three above that our service conflicts with.
