Deleting private chats

Something that's really missing is the ability to entirely clear or delete private chats including messages sent to you by the other person.

    You can remove them from your list by clicking the X button when hovering over it.

    You can also delete messages inside of DMs if needed.

    I am aware of that, yet there is no way of actually clearing out the chat including the other person's messages in case you still want to text them, which is what I essentially meant.

    Deleting individual messages from private messages proves to be cumbersome, especially if you have messages that are many years old. I also find it a pity that such a feature does not exist in Discord.
