Do not change usernames!!!!

This is a very serious topic. Usernames are perfectly fine as is, and do not need a huge step back as this new post is proposing. The addition of “discriminators” is what makes discord special, and removing them would prove to be a huge breach of privacy. It’s what makes so many people unique and the possibility of guessing a 4 digit code is 1/100000. With single word names commonly used, people would have to add numbers anyway because of the original being taken. The addition of numbers after a name would dismantle the whole idea of taking them away in the first place. Discord team PLEASE listen to us!

  I agree, people are used to this system and will just make more trouble for existing discord users and as well as nitro users who got the subscription to change the discriminators into a specific number.

  I agree, the username system is absolute needed.

  I don't want another TikTok or Instagram, I want Discord.
  The Usernamechange is a stupid move.
