Discord should keep a log of deleted messages
Recently had someone message my mod team to "go kill yourself". Since the user deleted the messages the moment they were banned, we cannot report them to discord. Discord should keep a log of deleted messages so that users can't get away with this kind of thing by just deleting it before someone has time to report it. It doesn't need to be forever, just a day or a week, so that users have time to report it and have the report seen by discord staff.

Why cant you report it to Discord

In theory I could. The response is always "Well, the comment was deleted, we can't prove it happened." Things like screenshots, bot logs, etc don't count as proof.
