If you have your 2FA locked out, you are better to ask if you can report it as a compromised/hacked account and are better off having the Support Staff agree not to disable/delete the account to get your 2FA unlocked. Since they cannot unlock your account if you get locked out regularly but if you get hacked, it's not a breach in privacy.
