The block function must have an option for hide message altogether.

Under the current specification, when a specific user is blocked, the message is displayed as "n blocked messages". This is very distressing to me.

I blocked a particular user because I did not want to see what he/she said in members belonging to the same server. The problem is not the content of the chat, but the fact that they are repeated some chat. What I would like to see realized in the block function is "to act as if the user that I feel I do not want to interact with anymore does not exist".

As long as it continues to show "n blocked messages", I will continue to be heartbroken as long as it continues to show this because I can see as a fact that they are saying some kind of abusive language again.

I think there should be an option added to the block function to allow the user to choose whether to keep the existing "n blocked messages - show messages" so that the user can see what the blocked person has said, or to hide even this display.

  Please add this as an option! I don't care about context from the user, and would like to toggle the ability to completely remove traces of their existence, especially when they are spamming to get your attention, even when blocked, by filling up chat channels with “Blocked Message”.
  
  This has been HIGHLY requested, for years now, and I'm very disappointed that it is STILL not a thing.
