Discord is losing its charm.

Obviously I'm here regarding the new UI and how it's abysmal. Lately things with discord overall have been unsavory, I feel like more and more frequently everything feels like a cash grab or a strange and out of touch attempt to “improve” when it's all actually only for the benefit of people internally. Your userbase is getting exhausted. I like discord, as do most of my friends, but to see the team make this many mistakes and then top it off with an extremely dramatic and unpleasant update is just ridiculous. I'm embarrassed for you guys. I know updates take time to get used to, Instagram does this all the time, but even their intense and strange updates have never been this huge and hard to deal with. Empty threats of course do nothing, you surely know you have thousands upon thousands on users on at all times and will continue to, but I can assure you if there isn't an option soon to go back to how things were, I'm just moving apps. Nitro is far too expensive, the team doesn't seem to care much about user comfort, I would hate to stop using this app because of such a careless mistake from the team but we all know you see us saying this is not want we want. Please do better in the future.
