New Layout

As a long-time Discord user (since 2018), I am very displeased with the disfunctionality and impracticality of the new mobile layout that has been implemented. As the saying goes, “if it's not broken, don't try to fix it.” I know and converse with numerous other users that have expressed their distaste for the changes that have been made to our beloved original layout. I've not yet come across a single person that is happy about these changes.

The old layout was easy to navigate by simply swiping between your server list, the server itself, and the member list. Now, you have to press finicky icons instead of just a simple swipe. The DMs list went from being at the top of my screen to the bottom. To put it as simply as I can, I do not like it. As far as I am aware, there was no one in the community asking for layout alterations. So why tamper with it? I used Discord loyally because it was so easy and familiar. I enjoyed how it was navigated. But I'm just not happy with what's been done to a platform I adore and have a lot of memories on. It had been the same forever, give or take a few extremely minor tweaks.

Please don't dissolve into the mass of other corporations that just do what they think is best. Please listen to your community. Until a change is made, I'm going to agree with those canceling their nitro subscriptions in protest, and urge my friends to do the same. I will not support this update.
