Windows 11 Tray Icon Disappears after Discord Update

Every time Discord updates, the taskbar tray icon for it disappears and I have to manually re-enable it in the taskbar personalization settings as I prefer to have it open so I can see the dot if I have missed messages.

Unsure what could be causing this as it doesn't occur with any of my other installed applications.

Running Windows 11 on latest updates as of 25/03/2024.

  That begins from some win11 build and now happens with each Discord update. Very annoying.

  This is because the folder where the app is install includes the version number (eg. C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Discord\app-1.0.9027) so each time that version number changes, for Windows this is a different app. It is also annoying if you habe a custom launcher where you want a shortcut to the Discord app, this also gets broken when the path changes. Having the installation path change with each version is, well… you know.
