I got hacked by trusting a friend and a fake moderator.

Yesterday, i just got hacked by an account that is 4 entire years old of literal entire history with my friends and other contacts. The friend who hacked me said something like “i have something very important to say” and explained that she reported me by accident of “illegal purchase” and i needed to talk to a moderator to solve the issue. When she gave me the discord of the moderator the moderator told me to change the email (i know its very naive of me to do so but i did it anyway) and to log out to “inspect” my account if what i say its true or not. And then in another account of me i added the fake moderator in question and told me to buy something of 50$ in eneba to proove him i actually didnt illegally purchased in Discord. I found that very suspicious and immediatly tried to log in back in my main account, but i couldnt. I issued a support request yesterday and a bot told me im in a “ticket”. Is there anything i have to do while i wait? Please help the memories i had in this account for me is unreplacable. 

Here is some proof of the conversation: (lunderman123 is me) I now can't give anymore proof since he deleted all the messages and i also deleted the dm.

    I'm surprised that the genuine mods didn't see the fake Mod" and mods are normally the same colour role!!?

    Yeah, I fell for this scam as well. Sorry man. Discord Support has been genuinely lousy these past few months, based on what I've seen. They seem like they are genuinely uninterested in helping their users.

    I wish I could help, but I'm in the same position you are, in limbo waiting to hear back re: my hacked account.

    I'm late to this but I got hacked by this same exact thing and if you don't get your account back after filing a ticket after a week or so and your account is lying dead than the person who hacked you will log in and use your account as the next new “mod” to go and hack someone

    Has anyone heard anything back yet? I just got hacked by the same thing a week ago and I just wanna know when I can possibly get my account back.

    It's been like 2 months since this has happened to me and I haven't heard anything that could help me get my account back and I haven't seen any sign of me possibly getting my account back.

    hey guys, i was just about to fall for this, i had a random girl add me, saying that she was very sorry that she got hacked and reported it and somehow my account was in the mix of it as her friends had the same problem with me, ( i don’t have any mutual friends with them and their account is fresh made january 2024). so they send me an email saying that i need to talk to this moderator named william, when i add him he begins to question me asking for my personal info saying im being investigated for “illegal purchases” which for a fact i know is false as i know not to make any. So red flags start ringing, i start reading more into what he is saying his tone is a bit passive agressive his spelling isn’t correct, so what i do is i say that i will change my email when i get a reply from the offical discord support, so now after i read this that some people have fallen for it and its all the exact same i knew it was a scam so instantly blocked them, ive kept their messages, it felt so real though they said they court would be involved and cybercrime which i’ve never bullied anyone or taken part in any. This whole thing has been stressful and i hope discord replies back to me so i can sort this out. please be carefuln

    oh and in his bio it had a link which i know i shouldn’t have clicked on but i clicked it, and there was nothing on the link which also fed into me believing this was more a scam than it being real, because me personally i only use it to chat to my mates and learn forex .

    also i want to point one thing out, if they are moderator i dont think they’d be in idle, when i checked the person and the moderator they were both in idle so im drawing the lines and seeing that it’s most likely a scam
