Falsely banned for "TOS violation" AFTER recovering my account from a hacker.
I was hacked in 21.04.2024 and since I was online I managed to recover my account in minutes. I got the “temporarily disabled” e-mail so I changed my passwords and added a 2FA and recovered it. Everything was over in 30 minutes or so, I move on.
On 23.04.2024 I receive an e-mail from Discord saying that my account has been disabled for violating the TOS for participating in botting and spamming and fradulent activities. The hacker joined a server and sent out DMs to 2 people with fraud links, but I left that server immediately and blocked the persons such DMs were sent to, and continued using the account.
I have been a nitro user for years and run my own server, this type of moderation is strange and ineffective as even after a hacker is defeated, the things they have done can have consequences such as this.
A support ticket was submitted on the e-mail adress of this account.

Same. Was also Hacked the 21.04.2024. and they disabled my account today.
my hacker was spaming all channels in all discord i was in including in Dms, was creating max amount of servers and spaming inside them too. The day I was hacked I found a Trojan on my PC, it was removed with Malwarebytes. After witch I changed Password and also added Phone and 2FA as security to my account.
Have also submitted a Ticket on same mail and then totally ignoring it.1 -
I was online at the same time as the hacker so I managed to recover my account fast, after it managed to just join 1 server and send out 2 DMs, I'm sorry for your situation as that sounds much worse.
I also removed a Trojan from my computer with Malwarebytes that day.
Lets hope the support team solves both of our issues.0 -
Yea i was banned from all my Game servers and support servers, The hacked spammed out a Message with a Link saying Free 50$ steam Gift card, and then it tagged Everyone. Sadly from reading a lot of comments of this issue with discord, they rarely get answers or even account back.

This happened to me too! I was back in with 2Fa on 4/21 and then they disabled my account for TOS on 4/22/24 am I going to be able to get it back.

Seems they did a Mass bann, Support is not responding, and from what I been looking thru discord feedbacks and other site, looks like we all lost out account, they don't seems to care even if you been nitro payer and never had any prev issues with your account. Seems there been a Breach on discord side and us customers get to bite the sour fruit without help

does it not seems a lil odd that soo many members get hacked account on the exact same day, and then discord account banned on the exact same day? for me it sound much like a breach on discord once again, as it not the first time

I was also hacked and yesterday my account was suspended, due to the hackers changing my age to 11, my country requires you to be 13, meanwhile I'm 15, and I've sent a valid appeal, nitro user for 2 years and discord user for 3 years, I'm afraid i will never see my account again.

My issue was solved 20 minutes ago. My account is enabled again.

Same. They lifted my ban too after being in spam filter
