Cant access account/ hacked? Help!

Hi guys. I want to preface this by saying every detail i put in is important. 

Today i got randomly logged out of discord, no biggie- right? then it could not log me in, when i went to go reset my password it said the email was not associated with an account. I figured i must've gotten hacked but get this. I had 2fa on with phone number and microsoft authenticator app. My password on discord was incredibly long, not even in english, caps, characters, you name it- it was a strong password. Now the email linked to my account needs a special “email” username to sign in which only i know- this is to prevent hacking. I immediately checked my email to see if i got hacked and there was nothing- no other sign in activity except for me, so then i figured i wouldve gotten change emails of password changes or email changes but there was nothing. my friends checked on my account and it seems to be fine. even weirder is i was able to make a BRAND NEW account using the exact same email and phone number that was on my old account. I'm not sure whats going on, i sent 2 tickets and im awaiting a response but im having so much trouble wrapping my mind at what happened.

EDIT: i did not click anything suspicious or download anything weird. I'm very very careful and safe as i know cyber security is a big risk nowadays.
