I feel discord support dose not care anymore
I've summited request about my hacked account and to no avail no one has responded. my request have been pushed away with countless automated messages starting with “ Beyond our original support regarding this issue, we're unable to provide additional information or support for this request." and it sucks as I been trying to get support for the longest. i have 10 reports in total which is bad but I've waited between times (that being 2 months) and a few days (8 to 10 days)
not only that but i also have a problem with the request system. as i go to submit a request and go to “user#0001” i get confused because of the change of the user names going form “user#0001” too “@user332.” This leads me to believe that the request system is also outdated and needs to be updated to current user status. my next problem is that the emails that the support bot provides if you want to get help another way (that being support@discord.com and noreply@discord.com ) which don't even work. each email comes up with “this email address is not currently supported” which also leads me to believe that the bots are also not up to date with current user status. the fact of the matter is that we need a real fix up with the support on discord as people like me are losing connections, personal data, other accounts that were connected to discord, etc. discord support needs to tighten up before more problems start to happen and becomes to much to handle.

It's sad to see discord support as it is. I've been hacked since Feb 19th, 2024 (2-3mo now) with 6 tickets being made.
I've only gotten bot responses, and they've most commonly been “solved” with this message:[= = =]
“Hello,Apologies for the delay in our response. This is an automated message, updating you on the status of your request.
Beyond our original support regarding this issue, we're unable to provide additional information or support for this request. If you need assistance on other subjects or situations, you can explore our Help Center here.
Sincerely,
Discord”
[= = =]And even with evidence proving my account ownership, still nothing happens. Considering the number of requests they get each day with the number of staff they have nowadays, I'm guessing none of my tickets have been looked at and my case genuinely investigated. I do agree with the oddity of the username/tag not being updated in the ticket system. I've attempted to make tickets alternating between my old and new tags, the ones before they got changed by the hacker, but neither seemed to make a difference. *sigh*

It’s sad that discord doesn’t care much about the people who use their app.
It’s always “Discord Nitro!” Or whatever and never about those who have been hacked or lost their accounts.
They focus a lot on making discord better for nitro users and never about their non nitro accounts.
People get hacked left and right and where is discord dude?
I have been hacked since may 6th of 2024 and I sent a ticket and after a day they put me in solved but I still can’t get on my account.
Honestly I’m starting to get annoyed 🫤6 -
I'm glad to see that people are agreeing and sharing there experiences with me on this problem. If we boost this enough, then maybe discord will take action on this situation and procced to fix discord support.

There are many that have been hacked the same way. Even with all the evidence in the world that the account is yours discord makes from what i feel a selection of who they help. Both me and a friend got hacked in the same way, both submitted a ticket, he got his account back last Saturday as to where i had to wait 8 days to find out that my account could not and had this shit

It feels like rng on whether you get an account back or not. Although there are pieces of information that seem to help with whether you do or not, there are some cases where those pieces of info weren't needed to get an account back.
- Nearly a thousand tickets created every hour
- 168,000 tickets per week
- Assuming ≤ 100 workers with 40hr work weeks
- 100 workers
- 40,000 collective hours
- 2,400,000 collective minutes
- 50 workers
- 20,000 collective hours
- 1,200,000 collective minutes
- 25 workers
- 10,000 collective hours
- 600,000 collective minutes
- You'll be looking at workers only being able put in 3.6-7-14 minutes per ticket, depending on 25, 50, & 100 workers respectively
I'm guessing tickets and situations take longer than 7-14 minutes to investigate and fix things, but it doesn't help that they've recently had layoffs in January along with seeming to slowly transition to a more bot ran support. All I can do at this point is keep making tickets hoping to get lucky since I've given them an absurd amount of info with nothing happing to boot. I've heard some people have had to make 18 tickets, before getting their account back, but that's kinda crazy. I'm only on my 7th right now, which is still absurd imo.
edit: 8th ticket now . . .5 - Nearly a thousand tickets created every hour

so it's a battle of attrition at this point? keep spamming them till they finally get your hacked account back? im struggling for almost 20 days and i still keep getting the bot response…

Today I got my account back. 1min after submitting my 9th ticket I had the email stating they were investigating and 1hr 20min after my ticket was submitted I had the account again. pretty much exactly 3months since I got hacked.
only real change to what I'd done before was selecting the option that I got an email saying stuff was changed without my permission, but ye it feels like rng to get genuine attention to a case q.q3 -

in that case i guess i will just keep trying until maybe 1 day i will get it back… feels so stressfull tho considering the info and stuff my account has in it x.x2 -
Tis understandable. I also had a lot of stuff on mine. They wiped a 3yr old private journal I kept q.q. Fortunately, they didn't wipe old conversations I had with my friends.

Same thing happened to me. I got my account hacked Friday last week (May 17, 2024) and I emailed them about this, and they didn't provide help at all. I've owned my account since 2019 and I've talked to so many people and also I'm worried that the hacker might do something bad on my account.

hacked on april 15th, still submiting requests when they perma close mine. account is 9 years old, been paying for nitro almost as long as it has been around. hacker used my attached paypal to give out gifts too.
I have always logged into my account from Virginia, The account email address, phone ,and 2fa were changed and it is logging in from what looks to be from someone in Europe . This should all obviously indicate it was stolen with like 2 mintues of looking.
Nope , they just close the ticket3 -
I’ve fallen for those false reported scams and I’m still 4 weeks in trying to get my hacked account back. My account is currently disabled, either for breaking against ToS or the hacker itself. I’ve sent around 10 tickets to them and I know it wasn’t the best idea. Today I received the same E-Mail from them that they’re unable to provide […]. I don’t know if that counts as closed ticket or not, but if I were to send them a new ticket, I would like to ask some questions.
1. Provide the old username or the new one that the hacker changed into?
2. What suspicion should I put?
3. The old (mine) or new E-Mail (hacker’s E-Mail) was on the account?

1. Provide the old username or the new one that the hacker changed into?
If your account had a # tag from the old tag system, use that, it's linked to the account forever regardless of what the tag is now. Otherwise, in theory it shouldn't matter since they should be trying to match whatever the account email and tag combo you give them.
2. What suspicion should I put?
This is depends on what you did in order to get hacked. Can you elaborate?
3. The old (mine) or new E-Mail (hacker’s E-Mail) was on the account?
You need to be using your email that was on the account before being hacked if you want them to revert the email back to yours.

The best you can do is provide the necessary info in the original ticket. Key pieces of evidence can be your old login info (aka password(s) you used), backup codes, proof of an email saying your email was changed on the account, and proof of someone attempting to hack you (SSs of DMs).
If your email was compromised, and you believe the hacker might have deleted the email saying your discord account's email was changed, you can request for the emails to be recovered to your email service, but they can only be recovered if it's been less than 30days since being deleted.
Although this isn't exactly what you might want to hear, as long as you provide the needed info, you can probably safely keep making tickets as long as you only have 1 open at any one time. I've heard some people have made 18 tickets before getting their account back. For me, it took 3 months + 1 day to get my account back. I made 9 tickets, and within 1 min of making the 9th I had confirmation of them investigating, and 1hr20min later I had the account back. It's kind of a game of RNG sometimes too on whether your ticket gets genuinely seen or not.2 -
I was hacked on May 8th and 11 tickets later… still have not helped me despite giving thorough evidence that someone hijacked my account.

Same issue over here been hacked for almost two weeks. I have provided important info such as previous emails and even the email regarding my email change on discord. that was requested by the hacker. I am currently on my 4th ticket whilst all my previous ones were “solved” and were responded with “Beyond our original support regarding this issue, we're unable to provide additional information or support for this request. If you need assistance on other subjects or situations, you can explore our Help Center here”. Will update if my issue is resolved.

Hi everyone, my account was hacked because I said the file and I had my bank card tied to my account with the help of which the scammers gave themselves nitro, I forgot my email so it was hacked so I'm writing from another, but my account had my bank card and phone number and here is the first ticket I created and received this message.
hello, apologies for the delay in our response. this is an automated message, updating you on the status of your request. beyond our original support regarding this issue, we're unable to provide additional information or support for this request. if you need assistance on other subjects or situations, you can explore our help center here. sincerely, discord
Hopefully I will recover my account, good luck everyone!1 -
Yeah I got restricted for being underage for discord TOS, eventhough Im above the age requirement.
I made 3 tickets, and I haven't even gotten a bot response yet, so Idk what to do. Each ticket says “open” and I think they're gonna stay this way. I lost a lot of meaningful memories when my account was suspended, and I really want it back :(0
