Almost 5 months, and bots constantly closing my tickets, I got my hacked account back
A friend of mine contacted me on discord, saying they developed a game, and asked me to try it. Well, it wasn't my friend, but someone that had hacked them, and literally as I was downloading the file, I skipped multiple warning signs that passed through my brain, such as, “this file is suspeciously small for this kind of game” and “I'm about to run this exe that looks really weird”, and I ran the file. It was something known as a RAT, and it immediately took my search history, passwords, andauto-fill data from chrome, as well as bypassed all security for Discord to just take my account and do as they wanted. They contacted my Email since it was originally associated with my account, and said they had made a mistake, and to contact my discord account if I wanted it back. Well, they weren't sorry, and wanted to extort me for money, which I'm sure they wouldn't have given me back my account, but they also added that they'd teach me how to do it to others, and we'd make a lot of money together…. sure.
I contacted Discord support immediately, followed all the steps, and constantly was looking for a solution that I could do. I used my new account to try and find my friends to warn them, but because of not having my servers, or knowing their exact names on discord, I couldn't, and they were all being scammed through my original account by the hacker. About a day later, I get a response besides the initial Clydebot, that told me that my ticket was being escalated. I contacted the Twitter Discord Support channel, and they didn't write back to me, but had plenty of time to meme with other people.
I occasionally add in more information about how the hacker is actively using my account, hacking more people, and still making contact with me, in order to continue to extort me. About 2 and a half months go by. and I am told nothing can be done.
I am confused by this, since I was told the ticket was escalated, and debated what to do next. I wasn't going to just give up, so I made a new ticket, as well as contacted the Better Business Bureau. I don't know if a bot responded to the BBB, but they simply said that I had a ticket, and things would be resolved through it. I articulated back that I had waited over 2 months, and they just closed my ticket through a bot. They just repeated that my ticket was open, and that it would be resolved there, and not through the BBB. I keep posting to the twitter, and finally I get a response saying that they would have someone look into my ticket. Soon I get the bot telling me what I showed in the above message. I was going to mention this in my messages with the BBB, but Discord decided to simply not respond anymore.
From here I just kept making tickets that would be marked as solved within a few hours, and sometimes a few days. Sometimes discord would email me asking how I thought of their support, which I told them my dissatisfaction. I tried to contact the Discord Support on twitter, but they didn't respond ever again. Just constantly having bots respond to my tickets, and eventually closing them.
Today my ticket closed, and once again, I made a new ticket, and somehow a person saw my post, and I imagine they saw how obvious it was my account was hacked, that they reset the email for me to take it back. Discord for years has known about this problem, and has apparently done nothing to fix it. This happens constantly to their users, even people that pay for their premium subscription service, and they're all treated the same. These things are not taken seriously, and they have terrible consequences for the people that get hacked, and the many more others that get hacked as a result. The method in which people hack others is so casual, I have in the months I was hacked heard plenty of people saying that they have hacked others, or threaten people that they will do it.
My advice is to not give up, and to expect that this will take a stupidly long time. Discord Support is absolute trash, and they don't care about their users. I hope one day they at least fix this token thing that results in people being able to instantly steal others accounts.

Same just happened to me where I waited for 2 months on my 6th (and ultimate) ticket just for them to say “sorry, can't do anything" and closing the ticket. I made another today and within about 2 hours, a bot just closed it. I reopened it by simply replying “The ticket was not solved” but how should I proceed? I provided everything I could. What now? Keep responding to it when it closes?
