Making this post cause Discord hasn't responded to my age appeal tickets

    I still havent gotten a response how did you email discord support when i tried to it told me youre not allowed to

    it told me that too but i got 2 automatic reply emails: the first one said they're unable to review email submissions and the second one said thanks for writing in, we just want to confirm we've received your message (ticket ID#).

    I'm a bit worried because of my situation now? So basically, once my account got suspended I made a ticket here on the support website first. I included my email address with that ticket, however I did not make the ticket through my email directly. Then about a week after my initial ticket was made and I did not receive any response, I emailed Discord. I sent that email through the same email that my account was made with, and I basically just included everything I said in my initial ticket + my initial ticket ID # + all my verification. I immediately got 2 follow up emails, one that said that they aren't taking emails anymore, which then my email was essentially automatically turned into a ticket of its own, and then another email which stated that they received my ticket (not the initial one). After that, the ticket made from my email was automatically solved about a minute after I sent it, and my current ticket had another viewing but once again no action. Because I included my email in my original ticket, will it be ok? I entered the email in the email field, but I didn't send my initial ticket through email specifically.

    My best answer would be I don't know but I also think that if the ticket isn't linked to the original email then it probably won't have safety after 30 days.

    If they get to the email before 30 days (not likely) you'll probably be fine.

    I wouldn't completely lose hope but I wouldn't have a lot of hope either. Keep in mind I could always be wrong.

It's weird to me that my ticket might not be linked to my email even though I made it on the support website and entered my email, but to be honest it might be better to be safe than sorry. How did you go about making your ticket? It might help if I could compare my situation. Thanks!

    I made my ticket on this website with my discord account. Your situation is different cause you made a ticket on an account that is not the discord account that got banned. 

    If your ticket got solved automatically from your discord account, then that might mean that your ticket from your other account is linked to the discord account. 

    When did you send the email from the actual discord account? If it was recently then try sending a ticket on this website with your discord account email. If you sent it a long time ago, I don't think it's worth resetting your queue.

    Efrathossain1130 Hey! Thanks so much for the response. So, this account that I'm using to post to the support forum was made using the email that I used to create my Discord account. However, the name for my support account (Lxxcester) is not the same name as my Discord username (leicester, or leicester#3553) just in case that matters. The Lxxcester comes from my email.

    This is how I made my ticket:

    On May 20th I got logged out of my Discord account and then got an email stating that I violated their TOS for underage. The email sent to my Discord sent me a link to the Submit A Request page. I then filled out a ticket. However, when I made this ticket, I was NOT signed into my Discord support account. The form however had an option to input my email address, which I did. I had no idea you had to be signed into your support account when creating the ticket, and I was panicking when I submitted the form so I didn't even notice until after I sent it. The form looked like this:

    In the form I put my email, my photo including my ID and discord username and selfie, as well as a short explanation of what happened. After I submitted the form, I realized I wasn't signed in, so I clicked “Sign In” and signed in with the email that is connected to my Discord account, which is also the one I submitted the form with.

    After I did that, I went to “My Activities” and saw the ticket that I submitted listed there, with an open status.

    A week after this ticket was submitted and I didn't get any response, I thought I should email them to see if their customer service would respond. In that email included everything I sent in my original ticket, my original ticket ID #, and the photos for verification, plus I asked them to please look at my ticket and that I would answer any questions. After I sent that email, I got another email stating that their emails are closed. It was then that I noticed that the email I sent was turned into a ticket, so now I had two tickets. However, the email -ticket thingy was automatically marked as solved.

    Since then, I have had both of my tickets be viewed, but no action. My original ticket was last viewed 21 days ago. The only action on there was all of the “CONFIRM” options being marked as “No” - I read around, and apparently these were just automated because these options don't even show up in the form to submit unless you are appealing for a bot. The other ticket made from the email was last viewed 7 days ago, but no action at all and it was marked as solved since the minute it was made.

    Apologies if this is confusing, I just want to look for second opinions since I reach the 30 day mark in 2 days.

    If you have open tickets on the account that's linked with your discord account you should be fine. That's what I'm getting at from this, if I'm making a mistake please correct me.

    Update: I got a response from an actual guy on Discord last night saying that they reenabled my account, I checked my account just this morning and it still says it's disabled. I replied to the ticket saying this and now I think I'm gonna get a response in another month. The ticket was marked solved before and now it's open again. I'm thankful I got a response though.

    Please include all of the requested materials in a single photo, and make sure that all of the requested materials are clearly visible.

    As a reminder, this photo should include:
    - Your face (meaning, please send us a selfie)
    - You holding a photo ID that contains your date of birth
    - You holding a piece of paper with your username

    You can cover up any sensitive parts of your photo ID, but we need to see your face and your date of birth clearly in the photo. Please note we cannot accept screenshots, printouts, or other copies of identification and that the original ID must be presented.

    I GOT MY ACCOUNT BACK!! It was exactly a month after I made my appeal. I got two emails today at 4:53am - The first one was to reset my Discord password, and the second one was an update to my ticket which simply stated that they have reinstated my account. Don't give up hope if you are still waiting - as long as you have at least one ticket open, it seems like you should be fine.

    My recommendations:

    - Make only ONE ticket, do not spam. It will take more time for them to get to you if you have multiple. Don't worry if you made multiple, but try not to make any more.

    - Do not add comments to your open ticket unless you need to provide more information (i.e. ID, selfie, etc). You do not want to risk being pushed further back in the queue

    - Based on multiple accounts I have seen here, I do not believe that your account gets deleted after 30 days IF you have an open ticket. Multiple people on the forum recently mentioned they got their account back after 30 days, so do not worry as long as you have an open ticket.

    - When it comes to forms of identification, the best would be a government issued ID with your face and birthdate. A driver's license is also good. It's best if it has your face + birthdate on the same document.

    - This is the worst part - you have to wait. It is agonizing and Discord support takes a REALLY long time to get back to you. I reached out to them via Twitter, Facebook, and the BBB - none of these actions made my account come back faster. They truly will ignore you until the last minute. Just rest assured knowing that if you followed their directions and have an open ticket, you should get your account back, even if it takes forever. Letting the ticket sit there while it moves further up the queue is the best option.

    Thanks to everyone that gave me advice and shared this experience with me. It was terrible to wait while not even knowing the fate of my account, but I want to give some hope to everyone still waiting. It took 30 days to get my account back!

    And then there's me. Account banned for age on June 26. Two tickets were just marked as SOLVED today, but my account is still locked. 

     

    I made a new ticket (which may have been a mistake?).. not sure what to do. It's been 2 weeks since the suspension. And I just opened a new ticket today.

    So I have one ticket that's open from an email I sent them back on June 26 (I didn't realize an email would create a ticket) 

    The two tickets they "SOLVED" were done thru the ticket system.

     

    and now this 4th ticket was done thru the support ticket system and is a follow up to the falsely claimed SOLVED tickets.

     

    So I have 2 tickets open. Hope they actually do something.
