Xbox trouble watching screens

My friend (xbox) And me (computer) are having trouble screen sharing, as when i screen share often times my friend can not watch however sometimes he can, it is very inconsistent and i don't now what causes it and how to fix it? it just says unavailable while on xbox, please help.
