    2 months sounds about right. Was that way for me. Twitter support is useless. They don't really do anything other than pat you on the back and hope you won't spam tickets. 
    Also good that you deleted the 2nd email. They won't talk to you if its still in use.

    Woke up this morning and my ticket is still open. It seems like replying did the trick. Just hoping that it actually goes somewhere.
