My account got hacked, the dude enabled 2FA, Support closing my tickets with AI answers AKA "reset password LOL"
The dude hacked me, stole my account, and enabled 2FA. I regained full access to the email the account was created, unfortunately, I'm unable to reset the password due to the 2FA the dude has set. I informed everyone I could contact so they wouldn't get scammed by them, but I have 100+ friends on that account, and not with all of them I had contact with outside Discord.
He started asking my friends in DMs “Can you help me with a game project and feedback” bla bla bla.
Did a couple of support tickets but all of them are getting closed by a bot telling me to reset my password. When I literally said I could not.
I had this account for 8 years. Almost every year paid for nitro. Linked Twitch, Twitter, Steam, Spotify… everything.
Does Discord support think that this is some kind of joke? These kinds of things should be THEIR priorities, as it's their platform to begin with.
After 3 days I saw this guy removing my Twitch Community server, and my private servers, clearing my Profile. Everything.
“Just make a new account” NO WTF do you mean Discord? Do you think everyone can throw 8 years of EVERYDAY activity in the mud like that? THERE ISN'T EVEN A LIVE CHAT SUPPORT. The worst experience I had with the company ever, EVER.
I'm literally sobbing for two days and feeling so ignored by this company.

Bro Literally this sh*t happened to me on 3rd June. The support is so fuc**d up that they do not disable the 2FA. I don't consider discord a company because no company will have that dumb support. A company cares about their users and this sh*t service thinks they stand out in other big companies. I m with you and I have upvoted your feedback 🤝.

They constantly add new paid content in their shop yet they do absolutely nothing with customer support. This is outrageous. At this point I would genuinely pay just for a human being to listen to my complaint and just freaking swap my hacked account's mail back to the old one.

Hey Aether, I'm sorry to hear about this. Keep persisting and hopefully it will get the attention of the right person who cares enough. I had my ticket closed saying I would need to submit a request from the account that my account was in despite informing them and showing them proof that it's my hacker's email, and not mine. I do not have any access nor way of even sending that option and need discord to swap the emails back. First ticket got closed on day three. I'm on my second. Hopefully we'll all get our accounts back.

Hello guys, after a few days of struggle with getting my account back, I finally received the answer, they managed to restore my account email and remove 2FA after I showed them receipts from my Bank regarding the last few purchases I made on that account.
I have seen it firsthand. This support website needs a bit of love from Discord. If I never bought anything on that account I probably would not have gotten it back. This is the only one time I will thank god that I spent money on something.

I'm happy for you! I got my account today thanks to the discord team changing the emails back to my account. I found out though that the hacker had been contacting all my friends and mutuals. The person who hacked me also was a victim of being hacked as well and unfortunately was getting his account used as the hacker's account. I'm sorry for everyone going through that.

Happy to hear it from you. But I am still struggling with getting the 2FA disabled and the hacker might be using my account. I need somebody to help me. Would be grateful if you both Anna and sayori contact me on my current alt dc account which is karti_sian
